2025 Southern tier Flag football penalties
	ALL OFFENSIVE PENALTIES OTHER THAN DELAY OF GAME RESULT IN LOSS OF DOWN, ALL DEFENSE OF PENALTIES RESULT IN AUTOMATIC FIRST DOWN.

1. Delay of game - 5 yards and repeat down
2. offsides defense- 5 yard penalty can be accepted or denied depending on the play.
3. offsides offense- 5 yard penalty can be accepted or denied depending on the play.
4. Flag guard- 5 yard penalty from the spot of the foul. if you cross first down you will no longer able to get a first down.
5. Unsportsmanlike- 10 yard penalty and loss of down, if happens on extra point the yards can be added or taken away on next drive.
6. Illegal stiff arm-5yards, if defender goes low and gets hit in face it is up to refs decision if it is illegal
7. Illegal forward pass- 5 yard penalty and loss of down(center snaps ball, qb throws forward and pitches back will be considered illegal) 
8. Illegal Blitz- 5yard penalty-replay down, if offense gains yards they can defer the penalty and keep the play that happened,
9. Offensive Pass Interference- 10yard penalty
10. Defense Pass Interference- Spot foul automatic first down. 
11. To many players on field-5yards replay down, if offense gains yards they can defer the penalty keep the play that happened,
12. OBSTRUCTION OF VIEW- 5 YARD PENALTY( BENCH PLAYERS MUST BE 5YARDS BACK FROM THE SIDELINES.)
13. Illegal MOTION- 5 YARDS REPLAY DOWN( 2 WR IN MOTION 1 MUST BE SET BEFORE SNAP)
14. ANY FIGHTS WILL BE AUTOMATIC END OF GAME AND THE PLAYERS IN THE ALTERCATION WILL BE SUSPENDED FOR 1 GAME.
14.1-IF PLAYER IS IN MULTIPLE ALTERCATIONS DURING THE SEASON PLAYER CAN BE KICKED FROM THE LEAGUE THE REMAINDER OF THE SEASON.
